Youth Support Worker

One Community Eastleigh is seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and flexible Youth Support Worker to join our forward-thinking Young Carers Project team. This rewarding role is essential in helping young carers (aged 8–18) access fun, supportive, and inclusive experiences through our term-time clubs and holiday activities programme.
What you’ll do:
- Support the delivery of clubs and activities for young carers
- Engage with young people to build trust, confidence, and positive relationships
- Work across a variety of settings to deliver safe, enjoyable, and meaningful sessions
- Collaborate with colleagues and to meet project goals and outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children and/or young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, adaptable, and a strong team player
- A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable young people
- Willingness to work at different locations across Eastleigh and further afield during holiday programmes

Community Transport Cover Driver

One Community are looking for a personable, experienced individual to work as a part of our Community Transport Driver team. Supporting the residents of Eastleigh to access inclusive transport services to promote their independence.
24-30 hours per week Monday to Saturday (4/5 days out of 6) This role will require variable working hours per days as per contract spec. Please note some days will require an early start other days will require a split shift.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced confident driver with D1 entitlement
- Highly organised
- Strong communication and people skills
- The ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team

Cleaner

One Community are looking for a personable, experienced individual to work as our cleaner for our Head Office based in Central Eastleigh. Our cleaner holds an important role at One Community ensuring our offices, meeting rooms, toilets, kitchen and communal spaces are cleaned to a high standard to provide a safe and welcoming work environment for our staff, volunteers and clients.
8 hours per week Monday to Friday (working2/3 days out of 5 from 3/4pm-5/6pm)

Trustee Vacancy – Treasurer

Do you have a good head for figures, and a passion for making a difference in your local community? We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as their Treasurer.
One Community is an independent charity which provides care services, information and community transport in the borough of Eastleigh. Our aim is to improve the quality of life for the people we serve through the work of our services and various projects we operate.
One Community helps children, families, disadvantaged, disabled and older people remain independent and engaged in their local community in Eastleigh. Our services help support individuals, our members and voluntary groups directly or we can signpost you to the right place.
We are currently implementing our Business Strategy plan 2024-2027 and this is an exciting time to join our charity as we look to the future of sustaining our charity.
What we’re looking for:
- A background in finance and an understanding of financial procedures.
- Preferably an experienced/retired Accountant/bookkeeper or someone who is pursuing a career in accountancy.
