International Women’s Day 2022

At One Community we are celebrating international women’s day today and have chosen to champion local woman Clare, who has been part of the Eastleigh Borough Council, #thisgirlcan initiative.

She is a freelance artist in the locality and is now a keen part of the walking netball team.

Hampshire Cultural Trust are marking the day by offering a lot of different days and courses aimed at women throughout Hampshire, including Eastleigh and Fareham areas. Here

Fancy a go at keeping fit in away that suits your stage in life?

Have a look at these local walking sports.

You can meet new people, have fun, feel involved and keep active.

On November the 29th from 12-3 at Hiltingbury Sports Pavilion, you can see and try out:

  • Walking Football
  • Walking Netball
  • Walking basketball

The event is completely free of charge and you can even enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
