Emergency Panic Alarm (Lifeline) & Wristbands

Our Emergency Panic Alarm system is a telephone linked support service designed to maintain a safer lifestyle and the independence of clients while bringing peace of mind to relatives and carers.

Panic Alarm clients are supplied with a panic button in the form of a pendant worn around the neck or, if more convenient, as a wristband. For people who are at risk of falling or with long-term conditions such as epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease. At extra cost, we can provide a fall detector, which can be worn as a pendant or on the wrist. In the event of a serious fall, the control centre will be alerted.

Clients are also supplied with an Emergency Panic Alarm telephone control unit, designed for use with an existing telephone, which is programmed to dial the control centre. Help can be summoned by pressing the control button.

All you need is a modern telephone socket and a 13-amp power outlet. It is also possible to connect a Lifeline with a mobile phone for a small extra cost.

It is also possible to have key safes fitted for a small charge, enabling carers access if required.

For further information about Emergency Panic Alarms please telephone 023 8090 2417 or email us here

Emergency Panic Alarms & Wristbands

Wristbands

What is it and who is it for?

The One Community wristband is:

* A simple, comfortable and wearable wristband which has a unique ID for each customer
* Extremely visible and hard-wearing
* Waterproof
* Available for anyone of any age who would like to feel safer and more confident outside the home
* It offers help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
* Peace of mind

Registering

To register you will need to provide information that will be of assistance in an emergency situation. This will be stored securely should you need our help. This might include any or all of the following:

* Contact details of your friends and family
* Medical/GP details

You can email to dwinnington@1community.org.uk or drop into our offices.

How does it work?

If you get into difficulty whilst you are away from home, or find yourself in an emergency situation, anyone who comes to your aid can call the emergency number on the wristband. By quoting the unique ID number on the wristband, highly trained operators will instantly know your name, where you live, and will be able to access your preferences which you provide to use. We will use this information to ensure you receive the assistance you need.

What can I expect?

When you sign up to a One Community wristband you will receive:

* A personal alert wristband
* ID registration and set up
* A 12 month monitoring charge
* Unlimited calls 24/7

Other Information
The wristband can be used as a standalone or in conjunction with an Emergency Panic Alarm LifeLine system.
