Any hours you can offer are of help to us and the people isolating within the area.
We are particularly looking for volunteers to do some shopping and drop it off at a persons home.
Also, looking for people who can collect and deliver medical prescriptions.
Thinking about giving up smoking? You already know how it’s bad for your health and is actually going to cause you more troubles if exposed to Covid-19.
Covid-19 particularly effects the lungs and respiratory tract, which can be weakened and damaged by smoking.
Also you are more likely to touch your face as a smoker.
todayistheday.co.uk is to help people like you to give up smoking for good.
Do you know anyone who may make some masks? If you know a person who could make us some masks to give for a donation at Eastleigh Museum, please send them our way.
We would like to help people in our community who cannot access masks easily.
If you have some to give us, please bring them to Eastleigh Museum- our local community hub.
There is an article about it in today’s Southern Echo HERE.
Eastleigh Borough Council have a busy programme of events and activities over the summer.
All these activities are reliant on the Covid-19 rules remaining in place and individuals and organisations taking reasonable steps in keeping safe.
The organisations listed are able to support the current Covid-19 related regulations as far as we are aware, but if you are concerned then please check with the organisations listed.
It feels really good writing to you about events once more and look forward to hearing about how they all went. Especially if they manage to banish those killer words from kids of all ages- ‘I’m BORED!’
