Covid Emergency Volunteers

by Jenni Bevis-Lacey

We have a keen, trained and enthusiastic group of Covid Emergency Response Volunteers.

What will stay with me: “The look of relief from several people at the realisation that they were not alone.”

Volunteer

Here is a short film showing some of what they have been doing and how to get involved yourself.

We would love to hear from you if you have a few hours to give in the Eastleigh area. We also need more people to make companionship calls.

To get in touch, email us volunteer@1community.org.uk or call 023 8090 2400

Waitrose- Tokens for One Community- FILM

by Jenni Bevis-Lacey

Community matters scheme.

The Chandlers Ford Waitrose have selected One Community as one of the charities you can vote for. It means we have a chance to get some funding through the scheme. Money raised is going to our Day Activity Services.

When you go to Waitrose, please pop a token in for One Community after your shopping. Here are some keen beans in a short clip (just over two minutes) showing you how it is done.
