Successful Awards Night for One Community
One Community had a very successful evening at the Eastleigh BID Mystery Shopper Awards, held at The Chalet on 11 June.
Sixty retailers and businesses in the town of Eastleigh received a mystery visit or enquiry and were rated on their window displays, interior layout, and customer service. The mystery visits were carried out by an independent organisation, Insight6.
Awards were presented to the businesses who achieved outstanding results in the following categories: charity, dining, leisure, retail, health and beauty, and pubs.
Two One Community Services entered this year: Eastleigh Museum and Shopmobility, and Eastleigh Museum received a Highly Commended Award in the Leisure Category, and Shopmobility won the Gold Award for the Charity Category.
Head of Voluntary Sector Support, Julia Allan, said: “This is a great achievement and the staff and volunteers at both Shopmobility and the Museum deserve huge congratulations.”
Jean Roberts-Jones, Chief Executive of One Community, was also presented with flowers in thanks for her term as Chair of the Eastleigh BID.
