On Tuesday 4th June, a bunch of very keen, sensibly dressed people arrived at the Bursledon Brickworks to help out for a day. They all work for a company called AVIVA in the UK and are giving their time as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR.)
Here they are helping out, moving the tiles (made on site, using traditional methods.)
It is a great thing to do, get out of the offices and gain a better insight into who your colleagues really are! CSR covers a broad approach of social responsibility in business which can include offering your staff volunteering opportunities.
You can see from our short clip that many hands make light work and how much the small charity (in this case the Brickworks museum) has benefitted.
If your organisation would like to do some planned CSR related Volunteering in the Eastleigh and Fareham areas of Hampshire, we can help you set this up.
