Support One Community.
Financial donations are hugely important to our ability to provide the range and quality of services that we do.
Although we receive grants & commissioned services, these do not cover all we do or want to do to support people in the community.
You may wish to support just one of our services such as Dial A Ride or Young Carers. If this is the case for you, please contact us and we will make sure your gift goes where you want it to go.
You can donate to One Community via your mobile phone, by text.
What is text giving?
Text giving is one of the easiest and most convenient ways for supporters to give to our cause – It is perfect for those who might be on the move or short of time and is very popular with younger people.
Just send the word 1COM, followed by the amount you want to give to 70085.
You can donate the following amounts £1,2,3,4,5,10,15 and £20.
You do not need to put a pound sign. Please see below;
1COM20 to 70085
1COM15 to 70085
1COM10 to 70085
1COM5 to 70085
1COM4 to 70085
1COM3 to 70085
1COM2 to 70085
1COM1 to 70085
If your donation was successful you may be asked via a text message if you would like to gift aid. We would be grateful if you could say yes (if you are a UK Tax payer, which includes people on ESA as well as those with pensions and employment.) It should then take you to a page and ask you a couple of questions and then enter your name and address. It is a very easy process.
We have registered One Community with AmazonSmile, part of the popular Amazon online shopping service.
If you usually buy things from Amazon you can help easily by logging on to your account via AmazonSmile and choosing One Community as your charity. It will cost you no more and you will get the same offers and deals but Amazon will donate a 0.5% of the net value of eligible purchases to us. Every time you shop you will be helping us!
Please ask your friends and family to do this too.
This link will take you to the Amazon site and explain in more detail how this works.
Donating is easy and can be done online in minutes, or you might consider a small legacy – Just name One Community in your will.
All contributions make a difference and if you need some examples see below:
- A carers coffee morning costs £50.00
- Installing a new lifeline costs £25.00
- Activities at our Day Centres cost between £10 – £15.00
