I’d like to invite you to the performance of the Lullaby Project.
Produced in partnership with The Asian Welfare and Cultural Association, Hampshire Cultural Trust and The Point, and inspired by Manasamitra, an artist-led company from West Yorkshire presents a contemporary musical exploration inspired by songs Indian women sing to their babies whilst working in the fields.
Lullaby – Sonic Cradle combines live music with a soundscape linked to a visual display that ‘dances’ to the changing rhythms, pitches and volume of the performance.
This has been proved to be having a positive impact on people who are living with dementia, mental health issues and contributing to general well being.
The performance is on the 6th August, at The Point Studio Theatre. 7.30 pm.
Fully accessible venue.
It is a free entry, but places will have to be booked, via the Point Box Office.
Box Office: 0230806502333
Seating capacity: 50 (unreserved)
Please book asap, what promises to be a great experience.
